MediaClamp

MediaClamp is a tool that lets you store all your Video and Audio in a way that only your moodle class can view. MediaClamp prevents your media files from being stolen and provides a way to ensure that you are complying with Copyright laws. MediaClamp also organises all your audio and video into an easily searchable library.

When you buy and install a MediaClamp License- you will see an administration block (shown on left) in your moodle allowing you access to the MediaClamp server. Here is where you can upload video and audio into the MediaClamp Vault.

After uploading, you are given a special embed code for the video or audio that will only work in your moodle assigned courses. It’s then as simple as pasting the code into your moodle activity for your students to view or listen to. You have multiple options when selecting your embed code in regards to how you want the media displayed- as a thumbnail, play button or a couple of different video screens- these options give room for creativity in how you choose to graphically format your moodle activity.

Your students see the icon of which they simply click to activate the audio or video track.
Security is achieved on several levels-

1 - Your media is stored on our secure server.
2 - Your media can only be seen on your domain in your moodle.
3 - You have full control and can delete your media anytime you choose.
4 - The media files aren’t stored in cache of students computers.
5 - Only Administrators, course creators and editing teachers can access your MediaClamp Library.
